**The Opportunity**:
We have a large number of Contractors that electronically submit their daily charges to CNRL. These charges mainly consist of Labour, Equipment and Material. We are looking for individuals who have the ability to use their judgement to troubleshoot and offer up clear and sensible solutions to the many issues that arise from these charges. It is a fast-paced environment and our goal is to have a 3-day turnaround for such charges. Prioritization is a key factor.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Understanding the terms and conditions of the specific contract to perform proper attestation of submitted invoices
- To review daily charges inputted by vendors for completeness, supporting documentation, accuracy according to their contract, shift cycle and associated collective agreements.
- Ensure the portfolio of vendors are following the deadlines set out by CNRL for daily submission of LEMs
- Managing the daily invoices in your que to be attested in a timely manner
- Prioritize inquiries and deliver solutions in a timely manner
- Liaise and collaborate with LEMs, Labour Relations, Supply Management, Business Units, Maximo support, and external vendors to resolve various requests
- Escalate issues of significance that may put the business at risk such as delay in processing of invoices which results in delayed vendor payments

**Other Details**:

- Job location: Albian Oilsands, Fort McMurray, Alberta
- Shift schedule: 4x3 - 6am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday
- This is a temporary position - Six (6) Month Contract

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Typically 3 to 5 years of related industry experience preferably with University Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business Administration
- Expertise in Financial and management accounting systems and Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel
- Experience in E1, Open Invoice, Maximo software, or accounting/cost systems is considered an asset
- Highly developed analytical skills and problem solving abilities
- Excellent documentation skills, effective communication, skills, able to articulate issues/resolutions to the respective individual or external vendors
