**Position Title**
- Studio Technician(s)**Position Summary**
- We are seeking multiple part-time Studio Technicians to join our team at Ancillary Services. This is a great opportunity to showcase your skills and interest in events and productions at Red Deer Polytechnic.
- The Studio Technician is responsible for the maintenance and preparation of studio areas within the Arts Centre.**Position Responsibilities**
- Prepares studios for rehearsals and special events
- Set up chairs, tables and musical equipment as instructed
- Ensure Arts Centre facilities are kept clean and tidy
- Maintain equipment when required
- Prepare the stage and act as running crew for events
- Ensures that all regulations of Occupational Health and Safety and Red Deer Polytechnic policies are adhered to in order to provide a safe work environment

**Required Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent to about 12 years of schooling
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- This position often includes late night and early morning work. A flexible work schedule is required.
- Some heavy lifting required

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Knowledge of musical instruments, equipment and repair an asset

- $17.71/ hour**Benefits and Compensation Information**
