Outsourcing Manager Banking Division

Citco Banking Division (the “Bank”) is looking for an Outsourcing Manager (OM) who will assist the business in further implementing, executing and embedding the outsourcing framework. The Outsourcing Manager will work closely with Outsourcing Agreement Owners to make sure the Bank is in control of the risk of the outsourced activities and compliant with local regulations. The Outsourcing Manager is part of the Outsourcing Management team consisting of two other senior OM’s representing who are located in Amsterdam and Curacao. Next to that there will be a supporting team working out of a shared service center. The OM will report into the senior Outsourcing Manager who is based in Amsterdam.
The future scope of the assignment is to manage outsourcing management for two Bank Legal Entities..
Within the three lines model, the OM team sits in the first line. As the Outsourcing Manager you will be a key reference point for the business for all outsourced activities.
**Main Duties/Responsibilities**
As part of your main duties and responsibilities, you will (not exhaustive):
- Lead the agenda for uplifting the outsourcing management process for at least two Bank legal entities: be responsible for all aspects of the outsourcing process;
- Facilitate the management of proposed new Outsourcing initiatives to conclusion in close cooperation with the agreement owner.
- Manage the internal monitoring and oversight process for existing outsourced activities and reporting to the relevant governance forums up to and including Board level of the regulated entities.
- Facilitate the agreement owner in managing existing outsourcing agreements.
- Engage in periodic service reviews to ensure that all contracts remain consistent with services delivered and that KPIs and KRIs remain within agreed tolerances.
- Make sure periodic due diligence reviews are performed.
- Work closely with key partners like Risk Management, Internal Audit, Legal, Compliance and Business Management;
- Act as primary interface between Legal and regulated entities in the execution of inter-company agreements, including amendments.
- Maintain the Outsourcing Register across multiple entities in conjunction with Compliance and Management Teams.
- Governance: ensure efficient organization and execution of key outsourcing governance committees including preparation and coordination of meeting materials, recording minutes and in the case of the Outsourcing Committee and being an active participant/chair the meeting.
- Reporting: Provide a quarterly OM report, which is part of OC documentation.
- Completion of Regulatory submissions, as required. Assist business functions in responding to regulatory queries, and follow-on requests for information.
- Make sure the Bank is compliant with all regulatory requirements. Work closely with Compliance on regulatory notifications and interactions.
- Bachelor or University degree level.
- A minimum of 5-8 years’ work experience in outsourcing management and/or risk management and/or compliance in a financial services institution.
- A good understanding of banking industry is highly desirable.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing.
- Excellent writing skills (particularly in the context of report writing and minute taking for outsourcing governance meetings.
- Proven solution provider with an innovative approach.
- Strong analytical, research and reporting skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to both work independently, as part of a widely distributed team and with multiple stakeholders.
- Pro-active and result driven.
- Enjoy continuous improvement and have a drive to make things better.
- The ability to build relationships with operational staff at all levels.
- Prior working experience with Centrl would be beneficial.
