**Qualifications**

- Personal Support Worker (1 year experience preferred)
- Caregiver experience (preferred)
- First aid certification and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training (preferred)

**Full Job Description**
- Supervise and care for two children under the age of 12 in employer's own residence. The children ages are 2 and 11.
- Bathe, dress Prepare formulas, put to nap and change diapers for a two-year-old toddler.
- Administer medications to a child who had a splenectomy done. Due to Splenectomy child has increased chances of getting infections. Monitor child’s health.
- In the absence of householders, prepare and serve meals for children and may perform other housekeeping duties (Mend Clothing and Linens).
- Oversee children's activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by householders.
- Provide age-appropriate educational training through organized activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings
- Drop-off and pickup a child from the Bus Stop.
- Take the kids to the near by park and supervise them while playing in the park
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home Instruct children in personal hygiene. Personal hygiene is important for the child who has splenectomy done as there increased of getting infected.
- Perform Light Housekeeping and Cleaning Duties.
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development.
- Required to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding each child.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure with children, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, physically demanding, Fast-paced environment
Work Location: Cambridge, Ontario.
Work Location Information: Work in employer's home. Separate furnished room will be provided to successful applicant.
