GE Environmental, a division of the Municipal Group of Companies, is an environmental services company that has been servicing the South Shore since 1984. Specializing in the collection and transport of garbage and recycling and offering a wide range of equipment and containers. We are currently seeking a **Dispatcher/Administrative Assistant** based out of our **Bridgewater, NS** location.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Act as a representative of the company demonstrating superior judgement and excellent customer service
- Answers phone calls and direct them as needed and set-up customer orders
- Dispatches drivers to calls as they are received, using information on customer needs, driver’s locations
- Manages requests for pick-up or container delivery
- Troubleshoots and resolves potential delivery and pick-up problems before they result in service issues
- Co-ordinate with the drivers for deliveries and services
- Data entry
- Organize and maintain office files and supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience**:

- Experience with Microsoft Office Suites preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Utilizes strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to work in fast paced team environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors
