Whitemud Ironworks Limited is the largest open shop commercial fabricator and erector in Western Canada. We specialize in structural and miscellaneous steel projects in the commercial sector. We have proudly built many local projects in the Vancouver area, such as the Vancouver International Airport expansion, the Vancouver Post Office, and the Molson Coors building in Chilliwack, plus many more.

**About the Position**

**The key duties of this position include**:

- Read blueprints and specifications to lay out work
- Offload, sort and prepare structural steel for erection
- Perform erection of structural, ornamental, and other miscellaneous metal work
- Perform reconstructive work on existing structures
- Journeyman, apprentice, or unticketed ironworker with relevant experience
- Experience with commercial projects preferred
- Flexibility to work in town, out of town, as well as overtime when required
- Reliable and an excellent team player
