Central Alberta Co-op is hiring 1 temporary full-time **Liquor** **Manager** Trainee** at our Liquor Store locations in** Red Deer, Alberta **(will also spend time training in our Innisfail location).

**Term**:October 1, 2023 - January 6, 2024

**Full-time**:40 hours/week.

**Availability requirements**: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons and evenings.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide excellent customer service
- Under the direction of the Liquor Manager, supervise and train staff in the general operation of the liquor stores
- Assume total responsibility in the absence of the Liquor Manager
- Assist the Liquor Manager with scheduling, recruitment, and performance reviews
- Effectively plan, organize, and execute liquor programs
- Order and receive products and properly store or display
- Keep a clean and sanitary work environment
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in the industry is an asset but not required
- Great attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain focused on results
- Must have the commitment to complete the management trainee program
- Coaching and training skills
