Mechanical Assembler

**The Role**:
The Mechanical Assembler Level I will learn to assemble parts (stages). They follow RAD procedures and use the assembly tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. They work to achieve high quality and quantity of work in mechanical assembly.
Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
**The Responsibilities**:
- Learning to assemble all mechanical parts (sub-assemblies, stages, etc.) in a safe and productive manner.
- Strives to follow RAD mechanical assembly procedures & processes to produce RAD products
- Works co-operatively with team to have finished products assembled that meets RAD quality standards.
- Learning ERP system to complete work orders with 100% accuracy.
- Attends bi-weekly huddle with assembly staff team.
- Maintain a clean and respectful workplace.
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Technical Calibration training is an asset.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and how they operate.
- 6 months - 1 year experience in tool repair, or mechanical assembly considered an asset.
- Experience in shift work considered an asset.
- Able to understand assembly instructions and or assembly drawings.
- Troubleshooting skills, mechanical / pneumatic an asset.
- Strong teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail
