Field Technician

**Job Details**:

- Travel to various municipalities in Ontario (vehicle provided) providing data collection services to municipal government (Most work will be in Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry and Prescott Russel County area, although there will be some hotel stays for further projects)
- Use of GPS equipment, measuring devices, and tablets to collect data. Create inventories and test municipal signage, and other municipal assets.
- Monday to Friday - 10 hour day minimum
- Substantial driving with frequent stopping.

- Excellent computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent mobile device skills (tablets and smartphone)
- Excellent customer service skills and professionalism
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to communicate and work with team
- Reliable and dependable with the strong team player skills
- Knowledge about general vehicle maintenance
- Experience in busy environments
- Excellent and safe driving skills

**Additional Information**:

- Full training provided
- Eight-month seasonal work with potential to return following seasons dependant upon performance and punctuality
- Hours are Monday to Friday - 10 hours per day with potential for longer hours and weekends (start and end times may vary but typically 6:30am-4:30pm)
- Minimum $22.00 to start depending on experience with bonus incentive program (periodic bonuses based on performance and other factors)
- Travelling required, hotels, meal allowance provided when staying away from home, and vehicles provided (Most work will be in Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry and Prescott Russel County area, although there will be some hotel stays for further projects)
- G Driver’s license and satisfactory clean driver’s abstract to be provided before hire
- Criminal record check required
