**Edgewell Personal Care** is a consumer goods company operating globally in the broad category of personal care products.

We are looking to hire **Demand Planners (One Year Contract) 2 positions available.**

Position Summary

The Demand Planner is responsible for developing a 24-36 month total market forecast (standard and promotional forecast). They are also accountable and responsible to develop and maintain statistical forecasts in JDA and gather and challenge local market intelligence, input the market intelligence into JDA and understand and maintain cannibalization effects to get the best possible total market forecast. The position is ultimately responsible for managing demand coordination with the supply chain to achieve Edgewell Personal Care objectives regarding profit, volume, revenue, and share.

Accountabilities
- Generate & provide the unconstrained shipment forecast to Supply Planning/Operations for a rolling 24-36-month period for the assigned segments/brands. The forecast becomes the basis of the Consensus LE, Operating Plans and Financial projections. Ensure the timely hand-off of these forecasts to supply planning through JDA.
- Manage/review market intelligence and projections to develop the monthly forecast. Enter inputs and allocations for promotion packs and displays.
- Suggest and support best Practice Development and continuous improvement in forecasting; either within JDA or more generally within demand planning
- Analyze and improve forecast accuracy and bias. Support the identification and investigation of root cause of forecast errors and OOS under demand planning.
- Perform forecast modelling and adjust forecasting parameters to ensure the best possible accuracy and forecast horizon.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Commercial team (Sales/Marketing) and Operations.
- Drive the local demand meetings and align with Commercial colleagues on the Consensus LE, main risks and opportunities
- Prepare the local Demand Review (S&OP) meetings for assigned segments/brands
- Potential to manage supply planning tasks such as material and prepack planning, as assigned

Specific Accountabilities
- May also perform additional duties as assigned; including, but not limited to, supply planning tasks to support the Canada market

Required Education, Skills and Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in preferably Demand Planning or other supply chain roles
- Education requirements: BA/BS preferentially Supply Chain postgrad
- Experience with JDA & SAP
- CPG experience preferred
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel knowledge, Power BI preferred)
- Team player with strong improvement focus and positive attitude
- Results oriented analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proven multi-tasking abilities and adaptability to change.
- Strong Negotiation skills
- Self-starter & initiative taker
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively at all levels within the organization and externally.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
