The Janitor is responsible for creating and maintaining a healthy and safe working environment by thoroughly cleaning the interior and exterior of various buildings, equipment and grounds.

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and/or shiftwork, as required.
- Ability to organize and complete work assignments with a minimum of supervision.
- Working experience as a janitor
- Ability to handle and operate small equipment and machinery
- WHMIS training
- Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- Responsible and trustworthy
