Position Summary:
**Acuren is actively hiring an HSE Coordinator to provide support for projects in the Prairies Region, specifically in Calgary, AB**. **Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the supervision, coordination, and administration of safety on project site(s).
- Responsible for carrying out inspections and audits of the workplace
- Proactively promote our safety culture through toolbox meetings, and safety awareness.
- Knowledge of applicable safety rules and regulations; and be an effective negotiator, that uses logic and reason to persuade and influence others to find the solutions that everyone will accept.

**Requirements**:

- Professional certification (HSA/NCSO) or training in Occupational Health and Safety
- Knowledge of Alberta OHS Act, Regulation and Code
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Industrial/Oil and Gas environment.
- A proven track record in participation of safety management processes e.g. safety committees and working groups and heavy industrial auditing and inspection experience.
- You are an excellent planner, organizer, with refined interpersonal and communication skills and have demonstrated computer competency with Microsoft Office software.
