Reporting to the Branch Manager or designate, the Prestige Client Group Advisor, is responsible for providing a comprehensive insurance advisory experience through exceptional client service. This role will engage clients in protecting financial health through digital and human experiences while growing and managing a book of high value business. The Prestige Client Group Advisor role will promote all insurance products and services including personal lines, automobile insurance and limited commercial insurance, as well as respond to client reports concerning loss or damage to facilitate the processing of claims. All tasks and duties are administered while complying with all rules and regulations.

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**General Insurance**
- Independently maintains, develops, and grows a prestige client portfolio, by providing risk management services to new and existing clients and members
- Sells a variety of insurance products while specializing in high value home and specialty niche insurance programs. Additional policy types may include home, tenant, condo, automotive, boat, marine, ATV, travel, seasonal dwellings, RV’s, mobile homes, ICBC.
- Develops and maintains relationships with Insurance Companies and other suppliers to ensure current knowledge of products for placement of various types of risk.
- Performs all duties associated with personal insurance accounts including maintaining accurate computer records such as client data, proposals, quotations, binders, renewal lists, claims, invoicing and correspondence.
- Accountable for the achievement of goals through effective sales and service initiatives.

**Sales and Service Leadership**
- Performs sales activities both inside and outside the office, delivering policies and paperwork, as well as consults on developing sales and service.
- Keen on networking with external centers of influence.
- Actively solicits referrals to commercial lines representatives, wealth management specialists and credit union sales staff
- Resolves or escalates customer complaints.

**Experience**: Required
- Demonstrated knowledge of commercial insurance
- Advanced knowledge of personal insurance lines
- Experience with High Value Home; Secondary / Seasonal Residences; Revenue Properties; Home Based Business; Personal Umbrella Liability; Earthquake and Water Deductible Buy-down policies; ICBC Collector and other ICBC Special Coverages; Motorcycle / Watercraft / Recreational Vehicles; Other Niche Products
- Minimum of five years insurance Industry experience

**Licenses & Certifications**: Required
- Level 2 Insurance License
