Asphalt Labourer

**Responsibilities**:

- Familiar with operating/handling numerous kinds of construction tools
- Operate general construction equipment.
- Demonstrate ability to gain knowledge quickly.
- Follow safety precautions, procedures and policies.
- Ability to travel and work on various job sites across Southwestern Ontario.
- Complete other duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Working near/on construction sites.
- Experience with grading, sewer and/or watermain, road work, and asphalt paving and/or general construction.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment requiring frequent/constant standing, bending, crouching etc.
- Ability to cope with regular hazards in a construction environment - inclement weather, dust, noise etc.
- Previous construction experience will be considered an asset.
- Ability to perform effective verbal and written instructions.
- Valid G2 license with a Clean Driver's Abstract.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Punctual, reliable and productive.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and days.
