We’re hiring a full-time Cook to join our team.

Duties Include:

- Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch and supper according to the meal plan approved by the Regional Health Authority
- Make homemade baked goods including but not limited to buns, bread, tea biscuits, desserts and pastries
- Provide snack to residents according to meal plan
- Wash dishes (pots, cooking utensils & pans)
- Keep kitchen and kitchen equipment clean
- Complete weekly grocery order(s)
- Ensure all received groceries are received correctly as ordered with quality assurance top of mind
- Pack and store items in accordance to food safety best practices
- Complete monthly food inventories
- Other duties assigned by employer

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lewisporte, NL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
