**About the role**

We’re looking for an **Underwriter Assistant** to join our growing **Specialty Lines Farm **team

**What you’ll do here**:

- Process insurance policy renewals, endorsements and cancellations and new business
- Prepare new business for input into our systems
- Provide legendary customer service to brokers, by responding to their requests and inquiries regarding changes to policies, through written and verbal correspondence
- Support Underwriters with their service requests
- Build relationships and networks to support your professional growth and success
- Innovate through your contributions to improve efficiency
- Identifies and assigns incoming inquiries to appropriate individuals
- Other administrative duties and tasks as required

**What you bring to the table**:

- Post secondary education or relevant office experience is preferred
- Insurance experience preferred
- Adaptable and flexible with the ability to prioritize work and thrive in a high volume, fast-paced environment
- Highly organized to manage workflow efficiently without continuous supervision
- Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient data entry skills and strong attention to details
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Computer proficiency and the ability to navigate through multiple systems
