_**Operational Capacity and Efficiency**_
- Support the development and implementation of systems and tools to support operational planning and reporting;
- Develop or assist in the development of mathematical models such as simulation or predictive models;
- Assess the impact of changes to operational systems on reporting products and tools;
- Analyze business needs to develop functional/technical designs for solutions;
- Define performance indicators to measure and report operational performance;
- Conduct ongoing performance measurement program evaluation and systematic review, assessing the relevance and validity of performance indicators as they relate to the achievement of operational objectives;
- Coordinate all Business Intelligence report requests for the Operations branch;
- Develop self-serve Business Intelligence reports;
- Support the design of performance measurement plans for operational quantitative studies and trials.
- **Partnerships and Stakeholder Relations**_
- Create, disseminate and present operational performance reports and statistical analysis to Senior Management and other stakeholders;
- Provide full mathematical and statistical support to all branches, identifying trends and possible areas for improvement to facilitate targeting resources to risk;
- Compile and disseminate medium and long-term traffic forecasts to internal and external stakeholders.
- **Contract Management**_
- Manage contracts related to the provision of flight schedules, historical air traffic and air traffic forecast data and information.

- Strong analytical skills with emphasis on quantitative analysis and a solid understanding of the principles of statistics;

**V. Qualifications**
- **Essential**_
- Graduation with a degree from a recognized university or professional college with a specialization in mathematics, economics, computer science or a related field relevant to the duties of the position;
- Minimum of 5 years experience with data analysis, performance measurement methods, statistical concepts and reporting techniques; Experience drafting clear and concise reports and presentations with a strong attention to detail;
- Experience researching varied and complex issues from a wide array of inputs and sources and recommending solutions;
- Demonstrated experience analyzing business issues and providing recommendations to management;
- Demonstrated ability to interpret ambiguous information and seek solutions to problems.
- **Valuable**_
- Experience using mathematical/statistical models and software such as SAS or SPSS;

Pay: $75,000.00-$87,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ottawa, ON K1P 6B9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
