**Vacuum Truck Operator/Driver**

Total Oilfield Rentals (TOR) offers rental and transportation of drilling, completion and production equipment to the oil and natural gas industry throughout Western Canada and the Northwestern United States. Our mission is to exceed customer expectations by supplying superior rental equipment, transportation services and product support.

**Position Summary**

Total Oilfield Rentals is currently looking for a Boom Truck Driver to join our team. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Boom Truck Driver will be responsible for ensuring safe and timely deliveries and pick ups of material to locations
- This position is a fulltime position and will be based out of our _**_Blackfalds _**_location._

**Time Commitment**

11 days on, 3 days off. You may be required from time to time to work outside these hours as the need arises. Schedule may be altered at the discretion of management.

**Summary of Duties (Duties may include, but are not limited to the following)**:

- Checks the oil and starts the truck for warm up
- Operate/Maintain Manitex 4596 Crane
- Contact dispatch to ensure clear directions
- Hook up truck and trailer(s) as needed: deck off
- Complete a pre-trip inspection as required by Federal Health OH&S Legislation/ E-Logs
- Ensures safe condition of equipment (chains, boomers, sling, etc.)
- Ensures maintenance of Certificates required for Lifting and Rigging
- Loading, unloading lifting and lowering of equipment as per boom truck operator training
- Must comply with all client and legislative rules as required by the job
- Other related duties as required;
**Qualifications**
- Minimum 5 Years Experience with Drilling or Completions Truck Driving
- Valid Class 1 License and acceptable Driver’s Abstract
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to pass a pre-employment as well as on-going pre-access drug and alcohol tests
- Desire in working as a part of a team

**Working Conditions**
- Primarily Plant/Refinery/ Drilling and Completion
- Flexible rotation schedule
- Majority of work sites are located in Central Alberta - Edmonton, Fort Saskatchewan to Southern Alberta mainly in Calgary & Carseland. Occasional work may be required in Saskatchewan and British Columbia
