**Purpose of the job**:
Ensure REOs’ compliance with EHS regulations and customer requirements, as well as, support the EHS Function to establish & monitor EHS plan to prevent accidents/incidents and environmental damages on the project.

**Key accountabilities**:
**Audits**:

- Perform Regular Efficiency Audits on REO’s safety performance working through a rotation schedule of Day, Afternoon, and Night shifts
- Recommend corrective actions to be taken in the event of audit failures
- Follow up on recommended corrective actions and ensure compliance
- Provide coaching to REOs
- Perform practical REO testing and participate in REO class training

**EHS Initiatives**
- Take part in regular EHS safety stand downs
- Regularly participate in departments’ safety briefings and provide support and follow up if needed

**EHS Duties**
- Safety walk-arounds
- Provide support with workplace inspections, Safety Observations cards, and risk assessments
- Provide support to EHS as needed

**Competencies & Skills**
- Mandatory knowledge of MS Word, MS excel, and Outlook
- Presentation skills
- Details oriented, organization & time management
- Written and Oral communication abilities

**Experience**
- EHS experience / minimum 1 years
- REO experience (3 years) would be an asset

**Mandatory**:
High school degree or an equivalent
