**Security Guard**

St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre is currently seeking a Permanent part-time security guard.

**Description**:

- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
- Obtains help by sounding alarms, initiating codes and calling authorities.
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; and informing violators of policy and procedures.
- Controls traffic by directing drivers.Monitoring all parking lots and parking equipment to ensure safe operations and adherence with parking rules.
- Completes reports every shift by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Maintains environment by monitoring building functions and initiating work orders as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Salary**:$18.90-$19.60 Per Hour

St. Joseph's Continuing Care Centre (SJCCC) is home to Hotel Dieu Hospital and St. Joseph's Villa. Located in downtown Cornwall, Ontario, SJCCC offers Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care services to adults at its 208-bed state-of-the-art healthcare facility.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: $18.50-$19.60 per hour
