Store Manager

As a **Store Manager** at Olsen, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will oversee all aspects of retail operations within your store, including managing sales, operations, and personnel. Your key responsibility will be to build and lead a high-performing sales team while upholding brand integrity. You will ensure that all business and personnel targets are met or exceeded, maintaining operational and fiscal accountability for the store.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- **Financial Performance**:Drive to exceed all financial goals, productivity targets, budgeted hours, and inventory shrink results through strategic planning and execution.
- **Team Leadership**:Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing sales team. Provide ongoing coaching to maximize team performance and adherence to Olsen’s selling strategies.
- **Operational Excellence**:Execute floor moves based on directives and adjust according to business trends as needed. Ensure timely processing of new inventory, price changes, and markdowns while maintaining high standards of store maintenance.
- **Inventory Management**:Oversee replenishment processes in line with company policies and visual directives. Ensure merchandise is placed on the floor on the same day as per policy.
- **Market Strategy**:Identify market opportunities and propose localized products, visual, and marketing strategies to the District Manager.
- **Payroll Management**:Manage payroll effectively, including budgeted hours and staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage based on business needs.
- **Customer Engagement**:Demonstrate a passion for the product by sharing fashion and product knowledge with customers and team members. Create excitement and enhance customer experience.
- **Compliance**:Maintain confidentiality of retail operating information and ensure compliance with legal and safety guidelines. Ensure all Human Resources paperwork and training is current and correctly filed.
- **Pricing Integrity**:Oversee price integrity and ensure that product pricing reflects current markdowns and markups as per company directives.
- **Sales Accuracy**:Ensure all sales are processed correctly and that all associates are trained in register operations.
**REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post-secondary education in business administration, retail management, project management, or a related field, or demonstration of equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10+ years of retail management experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to quickly learn new systems, including POS systems and web portals.
- Occasional travel may be required.

- Strong ability to present information effectively, manage talent, and understand in-store retail operations and cash procedures.

- Motivated self-starter with a professional attitude. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through various channels.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
