**Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate and execute the shipping and receiving activities of the company, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing shipping documents, and updating inventory records.
- Inspect received shipments for accuracy, quality, and damages, and report any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate parties.
- Prepare and pack products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling, packaging, and documentation.
- Arrange transportation logistics for outgoing shipments, such as selecting carriers, scheduling pickups, and tracking shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including production, sales, and customer service, to coordinate order fulfillment and address any shipping or inventory-related issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, conducting regular inventory counts, and reconciling discrepancies.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment to move, stack, and store goods safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers regarding shipping and receiving updates, delivery schedules, and any potential issues.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, including picking and packing orders, conducting cycle counts, and managing returns.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, including understanding of shipping documents, packaging techniques, and transportation logistics.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for inventory management, shipping documentation, and record-keeping.
- Familiarity with operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders, maintaining records, and handling inventory.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with internal teams, suppliers, carriers, and customers.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks as required.
**Salary**: $27.00-$35.00 per hour
