Bartender

The Insignia Hotel Sarnia, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel is situated in the quaint town of Sarnia in Ontario, Canada. The hotel was built in the ‘60’s and was the pride of the community. In 2019, the hotel was transformed into the luxurious boutique hotel that it is known as today. The Insignia Hotel is a pet-friendly hotel in Sarnia and features 84 rooms and premium meeting and event space, fitness center, and indoor pool.

**Responsibilities**:

- Take food and drink orders and input into the Maitre'D system.
- Make cocktails and serve other food and beverages.
- Be creative in suggesting and creating new cocktails.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area at all times.
- Take and process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Work efficiently during busy periods and find tasks to do during slow periods to keep busy.
- Uphold Regners Tudor Lounge's service standards and ensure that all guests feel welcome and valued.
- Ensure that all cash handling is done accurately and in line with company policies.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor while on shift.
- Contribute to making the lounge's atmosphere one that customers will want to return to.

Qualifications:

- At least 2 years of experience in mixology.
- Must be Smart Serve certified.
- Must be fluent an written and oral English.
- MaitreD experience is an asset.
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be comfortable staying busy, even during slow periods.
- Must be talkative and engaging with guests.
- Must maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor while on shift.
