deBoer Cabinets Inc. is a well-established cabinetry company specializing in custom kitchen and vanity designs. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker/Joiner to join our team. This position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in woodworking, preferably in the field of carpentry or cabinetry construction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and specifications to accurately construct and assemble custom cabinetry pieces, including kitchens, vanities, and other custom furniture.
- Operate a variety of woodworking machinery and tools, such as table saws, planers, routers, and joiners, to shape, cut, and join materials according to specifications.
- Measure, mark, and cut materials to the required dimensions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assemble cabinets and components using various techniques, such as nailing, gluing, and screwing, ensuring structural integrity and high-quality finishes.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and practices.
- Assist in the installation of cabinetry when required.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in woodworking, preferably in the field of cabinetry or carpentry.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Proficient in operating woodworking machinery and tools.
- Excellent measuring and mathematical skills to ensure accurate dimensions and cuts.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and work in a standing position for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

Supplemental pay types:

Break and lunch is also spaced out at different areas of the shop.
