About the Position

The role of Cook III with Peake is an exciting opportunity for the right person. In this position you join a bright, experienced, fun and professional culinary team in the preparation of high-quality meals in accordance with Peake standards of excellence. Major Responsibilities
- Works under the direction of the Sous Chef/Chef de Partie to execute meal services and prepare high quality menu items
- Ensures adherence to all Peake culinary, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Performs food prep and/or cooks on the line - washing, chopping, storage
- Ensures proper handling of all food products, including reducing waste
- Maintains set standards around Health & Safety including Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) regulations

*Tasks outside of those outlined in the job description may be required during times of increased demand*

Education, skills and qualifications
- 1+ years experience in similar catering or hotel kitchens with stable work history
- Some formal culinary training
- FoodSafe certification
- First Aid certification (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of hygiene procedures (HACCP)
- Professional demeanor and appearance
