**Position Overview**

Grace Expression House is looking for an innovative and motivated Social Media Intern to assist in amplifying our digital presence. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media strategy, content creation, and community engagement while supporting GEH's mission and vision.

**Key Responsibilities**

Content Creation
- Develop compelling, creative and faith-driven content tailored for GEH's social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc).
- Design graphics, create short videos, and writing engaging captions that align with the church's brand and voice.
- Work with photos and videos during church services, events and outreach programs to highlight GEH's activities.

Social Media Management
- Schedule and post content consistently across all platforms.
- Monitor interactions, respond to comments and messages, and foster a sense of online community.
- Ensure branding consistency across all social media posts.

Analytics and Reporting
- Track social media metrics (likes, shares, comments, reach, etc.) to measure engagement.
- Provide reports and insights to improve strategies and grow the church's online presence.

Collaboration
- Work closely with ministry teams to promote events, sermon series, and community initiatives.
- Assist in planning and executing creative social media campaigns to boost engagement and outreach.

**Qualifications**
- Passion for social media, creativity, and storytelling.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and trends.
- Basic skills in graphic design (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing (e.g. iMovie, Adobe Premiere).
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
- Commitment to GEH's mission and values.
- Prior experience in social media management or content creation is a plus but not required.
