Nepean, Canada The Teal Umbrella Family Dental Full time

The Teal Umbrella Family Dental is currently hiring an enthusiastic and energetic **Certified Dental Assistant **to join our team of professionals.

The Teal Umbrella is a family run practice located in the West side of Ottawa on Merivale Rd. We are looking for a motivated individual to grow with us as we expand. Our goal is to treat our employees and patients as part of our family. If you are interested in this type of environment, The Teal Umbrella is for you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare examination and surgical rooms by sterilizing instruments and moving equipment into place
- Assist in updating and maintaining client dental records
- Perform routine dental cleanings and assist in the performance of more complicated surgical procedures
- Provide support to dentists, surgeons and staff as needed
- Offer patients advice and materials necessary to maintain good dental health
- Prevent the spread of infection and disease by maintaining a surgically clean work environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of a dental assistant licensing program
- Comprehensive understanding of dental instruments
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong desire to learn and enhance own skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $1.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Dental Assisting: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Certified Dental Assistant in Ontario (required)
