Full Time Warehouse Security

We are looking for a **permanent full-time (40 hours/week) **guard who can work in Brampton **Monday **to **Friday** in a warehouse.

**Duties**:

- Working with Loss Prevention to prevent unauthorized entry to the distribution center and implementing the necessary policies for entry and exit
- Guard will need to be cross trained in other positions on site
- Ensures policies and procedures are consistently followed
- Monitor all ID badges for entry/exit to the facility for all associates
- Monitor all personnel including contractors, visitors, and vendors entry and exit to the facility
- Conduct visual security checks for all persons existing the warehouse. Guard must check all bags, purses and packages as well as outerwear. This must also be conducted at shift breaks/lunches
- Ensuring merchandise and/or company supplies are not leaving the facility without authorization from a supervisor
- Monitoring CCTV systems for trucks and contractors on site
- Foot patrols of the facility are _required. _Guard must be able to observe, detect and report, and deter.
- Document potential health/safety hazards, evidence of dishonesty or other misconduct
- Complete a report for non-compliance, or any other issues and notify management on site.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong attention to detail
- Valid Security Guard License
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to work mornings, afternoons and overnights.
- Must be able to work 40 hours
- Previous warehouse experience is an asset, not required

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

- Balzac, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
