**Temporary Full-time Accounting Clerk (1 month) **to join our team

Kin’s Farm Market’s success depends on the knowledge, experience, and motivation of the people who work for us. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounting Clerk analyzes and records transactions, and enters them into the accounting software effectively and efficiently. Tasks include, but not limited to, posting the sales related transactions and payroll, preparing bank reconciliations, preparing the reports, and other duties as assigned.

**As an Accounting Clerk, you will**:

- Meet accounting administration objectives by performing the following activities:

- Point-of-Sales Matching and Reconciliation
- Accounts Payable
- Bank Transactions
- Bookkeeping
- Reports
- Help the Financial Controller to check financial status and prepare special reports as requested.
- Help other departments in interpreting accounting administration practices.
- Assist the Financial Controller in monthly financial close process in preparing related data for reporting.
- Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures.
- Support the Financial Controller in preparation of auditing process to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
- Be proactive in providing recommendations for changes as needed and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed.
- Avoid legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation; enforcing accounting regulations; recommending new procedures.
- Work in accordance with Kin’s Farm Market’s Policies, Mission, and Culture.
- Other duties as assigned.

**REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE**:

- Must have at least one (1) year experience in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (“GP”)
- Minimum 1 year experience in bookkeeping, accounting, administration, or similar role
- Diploma in Accounting
- Intermediate computer skills - including Microsoft Office
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities
- Ability to multi-task; work on variety of projects simultaneously
- Establish credibility at all levels of the organization through communication, knowledge and professional presence
