We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our logistics team in either Delta, British Columbia or Burlington, Ontario as a Logistics Coordinator. We are looking for a person with experience in truckload, LTL and intermodal transportation in North America to complete our amazing team

Working in a team environment, the Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound shipments by managing all facets of the transportation cycle in a cost effective and timely manner. The Logistics Coordinator will interact with internal and external customers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate product flow by working in a fast-paced team environment to meet the needs of the client and internal stakeholders
- Navigating OTM to arrange and track various truckloads, LTL, intermodal and bulk shipments from origin to their final destinations. Including inbound purchase orders, drop shipments to customers, local customer deliveries and transfers
- Work with partners to minimize delays and expedite shipments to meet customer needs. Communicate these delays by entering follow-up information and communicating directly with the appropriate personnel
- Responsible for compliance with EH&S and quality procedures
- Responsible for the cost of each transaction and investigating discrepancies to prevent recurrence
- Maintain shipment tracking, exception reporting and updating OTM system and internal stakeholders accordingly
- Ensures that shipping and receiving records are entered into the system in accordance with quality procedures and reports any quantity/cost/quality discrepancies to the Procurement Specialists
- Help ensure that all necessary import documentation is available to optimize customs duties, brokerage and demurrage charges
- Analyze freight movements to achieve efficiencies and add value to the customer from the supply chain
- Responsible for working with carriers and internal stakeholders on damaged freight

**Qualifications**:

- College diploma or university certificate in transportation management, supply chain management or operations management would be considered an asset
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a rapidly changing transport and logistics environment
- Experience in North American transportation market
- Experience with OTM will be considered an asset
- Good knowledge of geography and proven mathematical skills
- Ability to solve problems, multi-task and set priorities while working independently in a high-performance team culture
- Proven communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience in an advanced ERP system (E1/SAP), knowledge of Salesforce
- CCLP/P.Log certifications are an asset
- Experience with the transportation of dangerous goods would be considered an asset
- Experience with the transportation of food / pharma products would be considered an asset
- Open to 0% to 10% travel as required
