**What you will do**

Join our team and make a real impact on the lives of young campers between the ages of 6-12 years old as they foster positive relationships, learn new skills and build self-confidence. You will be part of a vibrant team that provides a safe, supportive and motivating environment that is dedicated to creating lasting memories for campers each week.

You will actively engage with campers 100% of the time in program delivery while safety supervision and providing exemplary camper care. You will build positive relationships with campers, while acting as a role model who demonstrates positive Y values. You will follow all health and safety guidelines, while managing camper behaviour and respond to camper concerns in a positive and professional manner.

**What you will bring**
- Experience working with children ages 6-12 years
- A passion for camp and working with children and youth
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification (or willing to obtain before start date)
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Criminal Record Check
- High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development certification, an asset
- A commitment to working in a socially inclusive environment and responding with sensitivity and personal awareness to diverse needs
- A proven track record of interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with colleagues, campers and families
