**Warranty Analyst**
The warranty analyst will work in a fast-paced environment where you will work closely with the service mangers and technicians to accurately, and efficiently file warranty claims. Reporting to the service Director, this role offers challenges as you’ll have a chance to work with the latest technology, giving you an opportunity to showcase your skills and experience. **Warranty Responsibilities**
- Check for new, review and stay current of warranty updates, bulletins, campaigns, and their procedures, distribute throughout department
- Work with foreman and technicians to ensure warranty procedures are correct within repair plans and claim stories to maximize SRT recovery, have appropriate Cummins EDS, MX SupportLink Case numbers, and any vendor RMA’s or equivalent.
- Filing, processing paperwork, reviewing work orders
- Reviewing and processing/submitting warranty registrations for engine warranty inspections and overhauls (OPT, NOW, Encore, etc.)
- Work within policy request system procedures for Kenworth and Cummins
- Be responsible for monitoring and maintaining open work order reports
- Responsible for administering and processing warranty claims, returning warranty parts and efficiently track and keeping current on warranty claims and cores, maintaining the warranty parts room
- Communicate with and advise central warranty dept. when RO’s are ready to close/submit and on allocation for charges or credits to customers
- Filing, organizing, and preparing internal and external mail
- Managing and matching PO’s to invoices, processing, electronic copying to file and forwarding to payables dept.
- Assist manager with supervising/adjusting service dept. time punches for payroll, monitor & reconcile DSI and Avanti time clocks, make necessary changes to tech and work order times
- Be highly organized with processing paperwork, filing and ability to multitask
**Other Related Skills**:
- Be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend to ensure effective communication with employees and customers.
- General computer and software diagnostics skills.
- The ability to withstand work-related deadlines and pressures.
- Must be able to sit, kneel, lift, walk, and carry for extended periods.
- Must be able to travel to the US for additional technical training
- Previous Kenworht or Peterbilt experience considered an asset
- Must have previous warranty experience
