We are seeking an experienced Drywall Estimator with specialized expertise in multi-family construction projects to join our team in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland area. As a Drywall Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase by accurately estimating project costs and providing valuable insights to ensure the success of our projects.

**What You Will Do**:

- Utilize your expertise in drywall construction to accurately estimate material, labor, and equipment costs for multi-family construction projects in the Vancouver and Lower Mainland area
- Prepare comprehensive and competitive bids for drywall construction projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services required for drywall construction projects.
- Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to identify potential challenges, discrepancies, or value engineering opportunities.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify areas for cost savings without compromising quality or project integrity.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to explore value engineering options and alternative construction methods to optimize project costs and efficiency.
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with drywall construction projects, providing proactive solutions to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, architects, engineers, and project managers to address any concerns, provide updates, and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements related to drywall construction in the Vancouver and Lower Mainland area.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.

**What You Will Bring**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in drywall estimation, with a focus on multi-family construction projects.
- Proficiency in estimating software preferably On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid, as well as familiarity with other industry-standard software (e.g., Planswift, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- In-depth understanding of drywall construction techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to accurately interpret project plans and specifications.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to identify problems, analyze root causes, and develop practical solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
