Parts Inventory Supervisor

Weyburn, Canada Jerry Mainil Ltd. Full time

Jerry Mainil Ltd. is seeking a highly organized, self-motivated Parts Inventory Supervisor. This is a permanent full-time position that reports to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for managing a high-volume in-house parts department.

Job Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with various vendors to source and purchase parts ensuring quality and cost effectiveness in parts procurement
- Maintain a parts inventory for service department
- Ensure all parts are stored in an organized and efficient manner.
- Design various merchandising strategies and monitor inventory of all physical parts and tools
- Manage JML tool crib on daily basis including necessary repairs and purchases as needed.
- Oversee all return processes for parts.
- Maintain parts management system.
- Manage all warranty claims and assist in the warranty process
- Manage all purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies regarding purchase orders.
- Provide mechanics and technicians with required parts in a timely manner.
- Manage Ordering and receiving of all required parts.
- Control stock levels, inventory lists and restock parts room as needed
- Reconcile invoices to ensure all parts ordered have been received.
- Work with Shop Supervisor to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs.
- Communicate with mechanics, supervisors and other staff as needed.

Qualifications:
Valid Class 5 driver's license.

Previous experience in a Parts Technician/Manager or similar role is required.

Must be organized and detail orientated.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Excellent time management skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).
