The purpose of the Finance Manager role is to support the Regional VP, Operations and Regional Finance Director in both recurring and ad hoc financial analysis and projects. The role provides accounting/finance support to regional and operating management for districts across the Region. Incorporates all accounting/finance related aspects of the business cycle, including, but not limited to, forecasting and budget analysis, pro forma development, monthly operating results analysis, development and compliance with accounting processes and procedures, etc.

**Responsibilities**:
**Monthly Financial Reporting** - Assist regional management in consolidation and analysis of monthly reporting. Work with operations to ensure accurate and complete submission of monthly results on a timely manner. Consolidation of Regional reports for senior management. Assist in distribution and consolidation of projection templates. The FP&A Manager will complete this work with mínimal assistance from the RFD, often being a direct point of contact for the RVP and regional management and able to back up the RFD as required/

**Regional Accounting and Internal Controls - **Assist regional office managers and administrative staff with resolving accounting, billing and internal control issues as required. Liaise with Head Office Accounting team, GBS and Internal Audit.

**Ad Hoc Research and Reporting** - Tracking of capital spend and opening costs by Project. Monitoring accounts receivable past due balances and assist in unit level management with process involved in timely collection of receivables. Perform balances sheet analysis and P&L analysis of critical balances to drive operational improvement initiatives

**Budget Compilation** - Assisting regional and operating management with the budget process. Play a lead role in the development of budget tools, processes and training, working collaboratively with FP&A colleagues.

**Sales and Growth **- Work with sales and operations to assist with consolidation and pro forma development. Review comparable accounts to ensure accountability in pro forma development.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 7 + years of progressively responsible accounting or analytical financial experience
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and strong skills in Word and PowerPoint. Oracle experience is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, presentation and training experience in classroom or business setting, and sound judgment
- Progression towards an Accounting designation or MBA is desirable
- Fluency in English
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- High attention to detail and accuracy, well organized
- Must have an aptitude for problem solving, the ability to adapt to new situations and interface with senior management
- Team player & self-motivated
