Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for designing and distributing promotional material for AHS events. This includes posters for upcoming events, social media content, and most importantly the event guide for the Antigonish Highland Games.

Additional tasks include assisting in the planning, set-up, execution, and tear down of AHS events. You will also be expected to work extensive hours (60+) during the Antigonish Highland Games week, assisting with organizing activities, supervising youth programming, and all other tasks as identified by the Operations Manager.

Interested applicants should be proficient with social media, online design programs like Canva and Powerpoint, Microsoft office, and other computer software. You will need your own computer, and internet access when working remotely. You will also need a cell phone with which you will communicate and coordinate with the Operations Manager and other employees.

Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: $14.71 per hour

- Antigonish, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Marketing: 1 year (preferred)
