**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Previous machine operation or similar, relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Understand production and plant processes.
- Successful completion of all Carte pre-screening, assessments and tests.
- Must possess basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, conversions of fractions and decimals.
- Must be able to be certified as a FORKLIFT OPERATOR and OVERHEAD CRANE OPERATOR.
- **Must be available to work all shifts - days, afternoons, midnights (mandatory)**.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Set-up, calibrate, and maintain machinery and machine tools.
- Align and place tools, cutters, guides, and stops correctly in the machine.
- Operate machinery and equipment including press brakes, sheers, punches, and power hand tools, according to instructions.
- Verify dimensions of parts using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers.).
- Adjust machinery settings when necessary to improve performance.
- Perform quality checks, follow reporting procedures, and report problems to manager.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety and health regulations.

**SKILLS**:

- Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Able to achieve and maintain required productivity levels in a dynamic and challenging environment by effectively organizing, prioritizing, and executing tasks.
- Able to work and make decisions independently without direct supervision.
- Reliable, punctual, and positive team-player who is detail oriented, adaptable, open minded, enthusiastic, and takes initiative, and has strong organizational and time management skills.
- Previous knowledge and experience with 5S and Lean Manufacturing considered an asset.
