As an organization, we provide support to the greater Squamish Nation Community through service. With 12 departments with individual areas of expertise, we ensure Community Members have access to necessary programs and services.
**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
Working as an integral part of the Ayás Mén̓men Child and Family Services Department, this position reports directly to the Manager, Family Centers, The purpose of this Behavioral Interventionist position is to provide direct support with children who have behavior challenges, developmental delays or diagnosed disorders for the Totem preschool. The position may follow child to other programs as required. This position works closely with Supported Child Development Officer, and contributes to the development of individualized interventions. The incumbent ensures appropriate activities for a child in the childcare setting by implementing strategies in relation to the child’s developmental delays or disabilities. The position ensures the well-being of families and children and provides hands-on one-to-one support in a child care setting.

**Salary**: $ 27.47 - $ 30.64 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefit program.
