**About the role**
This selection process is restricted to employees working within the House of Commons Administration employees.

The Team Lead, Technical Operations is accountable for providing day-to-day operational oversight of technical activities involving
reporting and other matters, including responses to issues and problems with the Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms and Corporate
Security (SAA-CS) solutions. The position is responsible for managing daily activities that ensure quality assurance of SAA-CS
supporting/advising on various aspects of technical solutions and responses.***

and Corporate Security (SAA-CS). Through excellent client service, the Security Project Management and Technical Operations team
supports the various security technologies utilized by the Office of the Sergeant-at-arms and Corporate Security as well as
Parliamentary Protective Services. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the delivery of quality service of maintenance
and technical support services to users of the SAA-CS solutions.

**What you need ** University Degree in information technology and information management, or an acceptable

**Education**
combination of education, experience, and training.
- Experience in managing the delivery of technical support services in a program/service environment;
- Experience in coordinating the implementation of Service Desk business processes, operating

**Experience**
practices, procedural methods and tools (e.g. service call tracking; activity logs; technical support
documentation; etc.);
- Experience in the effective control, prioritization and management of all client service and support

calls to the applicable support team;
- Experience in supervising staff;
- Experience in recommending and initiating improvements to operational practices and procedures.
- Good knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, and resource management.
