LASH ARTIST/STYLIST CAREER DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic Eyelash Extension Artist with definitive in-salon experience. This person must hold a License and will work part time evenings & weekends in our Spruce Grove location

Stylist **must be licensed**, a team player, reliable and responsible, and a HUGE plus to have at least 2 years of in-salon experience.

This position is critical to the livelihood of the salon and contributes to the positive reputation and overall culture that is conveyed to our clients.

- Deliver customized eyelash experience designed to exceed client's expectations
- Utilize training, skills and expertise to consistently deliver services during consecutive appointments
- Actively seek and participate in advanced training, including new products, new services and more
- Uphold policies and standards as directed by state law and salon ownership
- Expertly guide guests to ideal services, upgrades and products
- Represent, grow and maintain the business through client interaction, product sales, membership sales, referrals and continued growth as a Lash Artist
- Positively contribute to the salon team, atmosphere and reputation of D's Lashes

LASH ARTIST/STYLIST QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be licensed Lash Artist and if a licenced Esthetician a huge plus too
- Must be upbeat, energetic and positive contributor to the salon
- Must possess great customer service skills and engage well with teammates, guests and management
- Must be available to work flexible schedule
- Must have hustle and drive to create a client following
- Must be familiar with all social media platforms

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for work area, inventory management for necessary items needed at station, organization and cleanliness of overall treatment area.
- Responsible for proper sanitation of implements according to Alberta Health Standards
- Responsible for sharing in general cleanliness of salon including keeping common areas picked up and organized, helping with laundry duties, picking up and taking out trash, and helping wherever asked.
- Helps with promotion at supplementary events and performs, when asked, services during those promotional events to help market the salon and build the brand.
- All other duties as prescribed.

- Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work professionally with the public.
- Initiates self-learning and is comfortable at educating clients on products and services offered.
- Well organized, detail oriented
- Exhibits sound judgment.
- Forms strong working relationships within team.
- Identifies additional tasks to be completed and willingly assists others.
- Ongoing learner; exhibits insatiable curiosity and an interest in self-improvement.
- Active Lash or Esthetician, license required.

**Salary**: $15.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
