The Crew Pay System Analyst is the definitive source of knowledge, or expertise in Crew Pay. The Crew Pay System Analyst is responsible to analyze Air Canada Mainline, and Rouge pay in accordance with the ALPA & CUPE Collective Agreements and provide analytical support to conduct a variety of statistical activities. The Crew Pay System Analyst functions as the organizational ambassador for their knowledge area and applies their expertise to support the introduction and management of the Crew Pay system(s).

**Key Functions & Accountabilities**:

- Develop and maintain processes (SOPs) and procedures to ensure the pay-related aspects of the ALPA/CUPE Collective Agreements are properly administered
- Ensure the integrity and efficiencies of crew member's pay for both Air Canada and Rouge
- Analyze and validate month-end crew pay in advance of the payrolls production process and take corrective action where necessary.
- Collaborate with Crew Planning, Crew Scheduling, Flight Operations, In-Flight Service and Labour Relations to ensure legal compliance within the appropriate collective agreement pay rules.
- Analyze crew pay data and perform statistical activities to ensure optimal crew pay processes are adhered to and provide recommendations to Director, Crew Admin and Crew Pay teams as required.
- Manage / maintain Crew Pay System Database(s) in collaboration with vendor(s) and other stakeholders
- Create and manage month-end reports to dispatch to various stakeholders
- Analyze month end pay data, reviewing inefficiencies / errors
- Work closely with Crew Pay teams and system vendors; reporting bugs, testing and approving solutions in automation
- Responsible to calculate and publish monthly Crew Meal Allowances, including new destinations and ADHOC / charter calculations in collaboration with MASC and Management
- Ensure Crew Meal Allowances are kept up to date in the Crew Pay Systems, including test environments
- Collaborate with Crew Expense Team and ALPA / CUPE Reps to resolve any expense related challenges
- Actively participates in the scoping, development, testing and implementation of new automation and collective agreement changes in Crew Pay system(s) and validates the final product satisfies the defined requirements
- Creates / reviews necessary documentation, such as system specifications, user guides, and training manuals, prior to distribution to end-users.

**Qualifications**
- Knowledge of Crew Pay and processes.
- Previous experience working with collective agreements, specifically the Air Canada ALPA/CUPE Collective Agreements
- University degree in business or related field (i.e., accounting or finance), an asset
- Previous accounting experience, specifically crew payroll, an asset.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and well-developed interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with attention to detail
- Demonstrates analytical "out of the box" critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and working knowledge of NetLine,
- Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and accommodate changing priorities
- Flexibility with work hours
- Must be able to work in a team and produce quality output under tight deadlines
