We are a growing business based in South Vancouver that distributes educational, gift, and fashion items featuring Indigenous art to stores across Canada and United States. 100% of the art featured on Native Northwest products is designed by Indigenous artists.

We are looking for a Warehouse Receiver to take on all incoming duties in the warehouse, we are looking not just for a receiver but someone to play an active role in supporting warehouse functions. Some of those functions would be picking orders, restocking, and consolidating stock. Being versatile and a flexible team player.

**Someone with attention to detail and previous warehouse experience, in particular receiving, would be an asset.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Leading receiving when shipments arrive.
- Implementing and following receiving procedures to check shipments for quality and accurate quantity.
- Prepare for future shipments and relay to the warehouse manager about the required space.
- Unloading containers and helping move shipments to overstock
- Restocking Bins to ensure they are at optimal levels
- Picking/packing orders when required - This would be roughly 25% of the job.
- Consolidating current stock to maximize warehouse space.
- Maintaining a clean work environment

**Job Requirements**:

- Previous warehouse receiving experience
- Attention to detail
- A great attitude and is a team player
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Ability to lift stock up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Well organized and good at problem-solving
- Shows initiative and can work well with little direction
- Strong English language skills

**Desired skills, but not essential**
- Experience with inventory counts
- Experience with Netsuite ERP
- Walkie stacker certification
