**Title: Shipper/Receiver**

**Position Purpose**:To help us reach our goals we are looking for an energetic, well-organized and self-motivated individual with problem-solving skills and a strong ability to prioritize workload independently. Experience in warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment would be a considered an asset.

**Principle Accountabilities**

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Shipper/Receiver will:

- Unpack, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders or other documents
- Liaise with carriers on inbound shipments
- Coordinate receiving dock schedule
- Label items upon arrival
- Assist in managing inventory, conduct quarterly inventory counts
- Record shortages/overages and reject damaged goods
- Accurately input receipts into computer
- File packing slips from suppliers
- Other duties as assigned

**Essential Skills and Experienc**
- 1-2 years previous experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in a receiving or shipping role
- Experience with Prism, AMMS and/or Basware is an asset
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Software especially Excel
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Detail oriented individual with exceptional organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making ability
