Yard Attendants

**What you'll do**:

- Provide professional advice and support to all members and customers in the Home Centre
- Consult with customers to assemble orders and arrange delivers
- Assist in receiving product and review documentation to ensure proper quantity, type of product being delivered and record any shortages
- Advise management of any stock deficiencies
- Pick-up deliveries from suppliers as directed, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate
- Collect payments on C.O.D. deliveries and coordinate pick-up of returned items from customers
- Ensure proper and safe operation of all company equipment, including the forklift
- Support in other departments and with other duties, as required
- You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

- High School Diploma is an asset
- You have 1-2 years of previous lumber yard experience
- Previous work experience in a Home Center retail location would be considered an asset
- You have excellent interpersonal skills are essential for success
- You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
