**The Role**

We are growing again and adding another role to our team Working with the warehouse team, the Warehouse Associate will be responsible for stocking the warehouse racks and receiving and shipping incoming and outgoing shipments. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Operations Manager and will be based out of our warehouse in Surrey located at Unit 102 - 19070 39th Ave.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Operate warehouse equipment such as manual and electric pallet jacks. This may also include operating the forklift if properly trained and licensed.
- Stock warehouse racks, receive incoming container shipments, build orders onto customer pallets, and wrap pallets to help prepare shipments.
- Manually handle, repack, or restack pallets of finished product as needed.
- Follow all safety rules and procedures at all times.
- Provide back up to shipping and receiving when needed.
- Understand and adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Assists Production Team during busy periods.
- Performs other related duties as directed.

**Skills/Knowledge/Abilities**:

- **Required Skills/Abilities**:_
- Proven ability to operate Warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
- A proven team member with the ability to work with all cross functional teams with a “can do” attitude.
- Ability to work overtime as business needs arise.
- **Education and Experience**:_
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience using pallet jacks (both electric and manual).
- Previous experience using a forklift would be beneficial.
- At least two years of work experience in a warehouse required.
- **Physical Requirements**:_
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
- Ability to move around the warehouse.
- **Environmental Conditions**:_
- Work is in a warehouse setting with exposure to temperature variability, heat, noise, rotating and stationary equipment.
- Personal protective must be worn for certain operations and in certain locations including but not limited to eye protection, hearing protection, etc. Steel toed footwear and safety vest must be worn at all times.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour
