As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics is seeking an eager and enthusiastic **Shipping & Receiving Supervisor** **for our Afternoon Shift** to join our successful Toronto team immediately. We are looking for a talent with solid professional skills.

**Position Overview**:
This role is responsible for supervising both outbound shipping and inbound receiving activities during the afternoon/evening shift (Monday to Friday, 3pm-11:30pm).

This position will report to the Shipping & Receiving Manager.

**Hours of work: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM**

**What you will be doing**:

- Responsible for all activities related to both outbound and inbound traffic (truck, courier & ocean)
- Liaise with the other shift shipping & receiving coordinators to ensure all daily requirements are met
- Prepare and complete all shipping paperwork and documentation ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Collect and validate receiving paperwork and ensure accurate processing in the PO system.
- Supervise warehouse staff to accurately stage product and oversee loading/unloading of trucks
- Meet on time submission requirements of advance ship notifications using various systems
- Maintain shipping & receiving records, including tracking and shipping history in support of our customers (both internal and external)
- Coordinate with Inventory team to obtain product for on time shipping and escalate as required
- Support external and internal customers as needed
- All other duties as assigned

**What you bring along**:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Shipping and Receiving required, ideally in a manufacturing environment as a supervisor.
- Minimum Grade 12 Diploma required.
- Must possess above average computer and/or data entry skills; experience with ERP & WMS systems is preferred.
- Superior attention to detail is essential.
- Thorough understanding of best practices in inventory management, warehousing, shipping, and receiving.
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and oral) and the ability to effectively communicate across various departments.
- Excellent time management, analytical, organization and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Counterbalance forklift license is an asset
