Janitorial Worker

Postition is Monday through Friday. Start time is 4:30pm Monday to Thursday. 3:30pm start time on Friday's.

This position is a temporary position for maternity coverage. Date of return is unknown. Minimum 4 month position.

Position will be 3 days/week during training with 5 days/week being implimented at a later date.

Job is located in the Harmattan area and will require commute to and from the job location. MUST HAVE RELIABLE VEHICLE AND WILLING TO DRIVE

**Responsibilities**:

- Clean and maintain assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Restock supplies in restrooms and break rooms
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment (trainining provided)
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $17.50-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
