Soil Sampler

**Position Available: Soil Sampler - Stratford, ON- Full Time**

**Physical Attributes**
- Traveling throughout Southern Ontario to take soil samples from our customers' farms.
- Work independently for long hours (Typically 8-12 hours per day).
- Work outside in most weather conditions. (Heat, Cold, Rain).
- Work at a repetitive job for hours while maintaining the same level of quality and quantity.
- Communicate with farmers, sales staff and office staff to ensure quality work.

**Requirements**:

- Valid and clean G license.
- Strong map reading skills. Ability to determine appropriate directions between farms as well as interpret farmers' maps of their fields.
- Physically able to drive an ATV over farmers' fields for 8-12 hours per day. ATV is provided.
- Specify knowledge to recognize a variety of crops in fields.
- Ability to make judgement calls based on the circumstances at times and to follow specific directions at other times.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- An agricultural background is an asset.
- You must have reliable transportation to and from work.
