**VetShield** has a great opportunity available in Stony Plain, Alberta for a Veterinarian (DVM). The business has been around for years, a newly renovated building and updated medical equipment The business is focused on providing patients with affordable and quality medical care. You'll be surrounded by a team of animal lovers who care greatly for patients.

We are a general practice, but we offer so much more. From orthopaedic, soft tissue surgery, echocardiograms, abdominal ultrasounds, exotics and emergency services. **No overnights or weekends**

**What does the role look like?**
- Surgery
- Orthopaedic, soft tissue, echocardiograms, abdominal related surgeries, gastrointestinal and more
- General medical
- Perform preventative care services
- Health exams, vaccinations and medical treatments
- Internal medicine
- Speaking to clients regarding pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventative health care and nutritional needs

**What are we looking for?**
- A doctor of veterinary medicine (DVM) from an accredited university
- Registered and in good standing with the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association (ABVMA)
- You are a great communicator with clients and internal teams
- Demonstrating empathy with clients and trying to find solutions for clients based on their situation
- Great diagnostic and surgery skills
- A drive to succeed
