**Who we are looking for**

**Qualifications**:

- Previous work experience as a Barista is an asset
- AHS Food Safety Certificate (preferred)
- Proserve (preferred)
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
- Passion for baked goods
- Well-developed sense of both fun and teamwork

**Duties**:

- Welcome customers by determining their coffee interests and needs
- Prepare coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso, cafe latte, and cappuccino
- Suggest add-ons and upselling opportunities
- Package and plate pastries from display case
- Maintain inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply, maintaining pastries in display case.
- Maintain the appearance of the store
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
- Other as directed by Bakery Manager / Front of House Manager
- Prepare ingredients for next days production
- Place used dishes in dishwasher

**Work Conditions**
- Occasional overtime
- Long periods of standing and walking; frequent bending and twisting
